My One Word: Submit

Because I am someone driven by my ability to control my circumstances. Therefore, when things are out of my control, internal chaos ensues and begins a spiral of losing control and sense of value. I throw up my hands with a “Why bother?” spirit. I want to develop a heart that submits to God’s control. I want to get to a place where I fully trust his ability to direct my life. I believe submission is that path for me.
