The word redeem is the root for redemption and redeemer. I am the redeemed of the Lord, but still God is redeeming me from things daily because of my Redeemer. who is Faithful and True. I am reading a great book about redemption called,” A Grace Revealed..how God Redeems the Story of Your Life”, by Jerry Sittser, and also have been listening to songs by Stephen Curtis Chapman and Big Daddy Weave, both focusing on the word Redeem; from Redeemer to being redeemed. I plan on finding a verse, but haven’t quite narrowed it down to just one as of yet because there are so many good ones to choose from.
