At first I thought the word “surrender” would make sense considering the tumultuous environment I’m in. But surrendering is a key part of becoming a person of humility. A humble spirit will free me from being overly concerned about what people think and allow me to be sincere in how I communicate. It allows me to confidently place my concerns in the hands of Jesus and effectively hear His voice. “He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.” – Psalm 25:9
