My One Word: HOPE
From: Marcie Arango
This word, I belive, was chosen for me… by God. In October of this year my life came full circle from domestic violence victim in 1982-1987 to director of a new program, HOPE’s VOICE, that serves domestic violence victims in our community. I feel my entire life has prepared me for this time. So my word HOPE because this is my prayer for the victims we serve at “HOPE’s VOICE” in Vincennes, Indiana. The scripture that I have been given as my prayer and vision for the victims we serve is Job 11:17-19:

18 Having hope will give you courage.
You will be protected and will rest in safety.
19 You will lie down unafraid,
