The parable of the prodigal son from the Bible left the comforts of home and went out on his own, squandered all the money his father gave him. When all that was gone, he was left without friends, family, anyone who cared about him. He found himself tending the pigs of a stranger, when he finally came to his AHA moment. AHA is an acronym for Awakening, Honesty, Action. He had to come to his point of awakening, be honest with who he was where he was at that moment and how and why he got there. Then he had to take action to correct his situation. He had to decide to get up, go back home and ask for forgiveness for his attitude and actions. He was restored to his position.
