My One Word: Peace

My husband is a church planter. I am a high school teacher. We have two children, ages almost two and four. I feel like our life is chaotic and busy. Rushing from place to place or task to task. Rushing gets in the way of our family’s peace. Being unprepared for the day ahead steals our peace. Unwise financial decisions steal our peace. This year I want to be a person of peace. A person who lives it, provides it for others, and cultivates it.
