I choose my one word because I feel that God has called me to serve Him and others. As a Christian you have to give and give and not expect anything back. Jesus was the perfect example of a servant, He always gave and never got anything in return. I want to follow Christ and serve with my entire life, I want this year for me to reflect this word. I want to stop thinking about myself and start thinking about others instead. Jesus said that the least will be the greatest, and the servant is the greatest in the kingdom of God. He also said that the first will become the last and the last will become the first. These words of Jesus give me my inspiration for wanting to serve and not be served, to give and not receive, to love and not be loved back.
