James 3:12 talks about salt water and fresh water – that they cannot come from the same source. Matthew 12:34 says “out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.” I want to have a pure heart that is outrageously in love with Jesus Christ. I want that to overflow in words that glorify God and help others to run after him as well. I want to communicate thoughts, concerns and ideas that the Lord reveals to me rather than be a passive complainer. I want to communicate my feelings and emotions for the development of my relationships. I want to communicate truth to exhort people toward it. I want to communicate because the Lord has gifted me to do so.
