My desire is the Lord will purify my heart, thoughts and entire being so I can draw close to Him and see Him as He truly is. I want to be purified by His Spirit so He can reveal Himself to me through His clear lens of truth, not the clouded lens of the world. I want to be purified so I can love as He loves, serve as He serves and demonstrate all of His goodness to those around me.

My prayer this year is: Purify my heart, my Lord; transform me as only You can, for without You I can do nothing, but with you I can do all things.
