My One Word for 2014 is “Forward.” At first I wanted to pick the word—start—but realized I would be greatly hindering my progress with this train of thought. The foundation has already been put in place, so starting anew or starting over isn’t what I’m after this year.

On the contrary, I simply need to move forward with what I’ve already been given. It’s time to build upon my failures transforming my ordinary into something extraordinary. No more excuses or holding back onto my comfort zone.

This tug-of-war that I’ve been engaging in for the past several years must be put to an end once and for all! This year is about letting go of what has defined my life for most of the past decade and making the transition into a whole new world of discoveries. The time has come to forgo the foe of fear and follow forward with faith in 2014!
