I am a busy, overly organized, perfectionistic wife, mother, and kindergarten teacher. I am awaiting the birth of our second daughter any day now. I know the Lord wants to do a new work inside of me this year and it begins with simplifying my life. I cannot be everything to everyone. My priorities need to change and my focus needs to be on what matters most….my relationship with my Heavenly Father and my family. There are so many things I say “yes” to or do in the name of “being a good wife/mom/teacher” that need to stop. I want to screen every decision, every moment, every money spent by asking myself one question…”Does it matter in light of eternity?” My life should be simple, my mission should be clear and my purpose should be missional. God, move in me in 2013. Simplify my life.
