I’m just finishing my year focussing on the word cultivate. It turned out to be a year of cultivating authenticity and wholeheartedness with God, my husband, my kids, friends– and even in how I relate to acquaintances and strangers.
I didn’t realize it at the time of choosing, but cultivate is a key word in working through author Brene Brown’s ten guide posts to wholehearted living. She is not a Christian author, but God really used her work to take me through this year of developing and deepening my character.
