“Decisive” was not my first choice. My whole life, I’ve been famously indecisive. My husband and daughter tease me that I can’t make a decision. Or I’ll make a decision and then go back on it. This has been my M.O. for as long as I can remember! Then yesterday during Mike’s message, he shared that a woman approached him and said she couldn’t choose between “love” and “decisive.” He basically said that the choice was obvious! That story felt like a neon sign from God to me. My family writes our words on a chalkboard in the kitchen. I erased my original word (“edify,” which I’m sure would have it’s challenges but it felt safe) and wrote “decisive.” I am now officially terrified. Yet I know God is faithful and He will help me through this year of “decisiveness.” #whathaveidone #godisgood
