Last year MOW was “Balance”. Before I chose the word I had to realistically make a list of pros and cons concerning my character. That’s when I realized how out of balance and stifled the motives of my heart really were. The pain and bitterness I still held onto after the end of my marriage had controlled and consumed me for too long. 2012 was the first year out of four that I felt focusing on my word really changed the condition of my heart. After Mike described MOW as a “process” my choice for 2013 was obvious. The changes God made in my heart in 2012 and my relationship with Christ will continue to be life changing as long as I focus on moving “Forward”.
