This past year I’ve been so caught up in trying to get my house in order, making sure it’s clean and organized, but toddlers make it impossible. The computer pulls me away from my kids, because I “need” to do this or that. When I think about how I really want my day today to go, I want to be on the floor playing games with my kids, creating art projects, making messes, not on the computer or organizing a shelf. I need to be PRESENT with them daily, not stuck somewhere by myself.
