My word for 2015 was “hope” and ended up being the name I chose for my first daughter I miscarried. Through Hope’s death, the Lord taught me so much about hope and how my hope must be rooted in Him. Then we lost Hope’s little sister. I named her Joy because through her death, I learned that the only true lasting joy on this earth can be found through Christ. I’ve really been struggling with depression the last few months since Joy’s death and I’m hoping to learn more about joy and how to obtain it through Christ.
