My One Word: Align
To align (verb): to arrange things so that they are in proper position; to change something so that it agrees with or matches something else. I love the Lord so much and want desperately to have my priorities and activities aligned with His plans. My life is so full – I have three part-time jobs in addition to my family responsibilities with three young sons, and things feel very hectic. I chose this word because I want my life to be in full alignment with God’s will so that I can bring glory to Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 provides the answer to alignment: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.” I must TRUST (my word in 2013) God, lean on His understanding, acknowledge Him and HE will make my paths align. 2015 is going to be a great year!!
