“He must become greater; I must become less.” (John 3:30 NIV) Every year I ask God for more. More patiences, more discipline, more willpower etc. Lately there have been other “things” I have been asking for more of. More doesn’t work for me so that’s why I chose the word “less”. I want to be less impatient, waste less time on unimportant things, want less, spend less, eat less, less excuses, be less selfish, remember those less fortunate. Less of me means there will finally be room to be filled with the love of Christ.
