I chose PAUSE as my one word because I need to be intentionall about pausing and resting, both in speech and action. I want to be a better listener to God and to others, which requires that I pause my speaking. I want to be able to rest and relax with those I love, especially my husband, which requires me to pause from all my frenzied activity. I need to pause and listen for God’s voice before jumping ahead with my plans. I know God will show me His meaning and purpose for my life if I take time to PAUSE.
