I chose my word to help remind me to grow, to be alive, and to rise from adversities. I was also inspired by the word because it is sort of an onomatopoeia (a word that sounds like its meaning). I also chose a Bible verse to go along with it: ““Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” -Isaiah 43:18-19. I love the Bible verse because it reminds me that God can bring good out of anything! It also is great for the new year to remember that I can start new because God does not dwell on the past!
