My One Word: One
Our church had a ladies retreat & there was a table of books that were for sale. A friend said that she was thinking about purchasing My One Word book. I jokily said that I didn’t have that many years left. She said that it wasn’t the quantity but the quality of the words.
My friend chose the word gentle because sometimes that she could use help on that. I said half heartily I’ll chose one.
She bought this book for me as a gift & left it in my seat.
After reading the entire book within two days I knew that my word was still One.
Because God is the only One God & I need to remember that. To remember that He will supply my every need. To completely trust in Him.
And to also remember that God wants my husband & I to be of one flesh. It’s not what I want & who does he think that he is?
One is my word & I know that God put that word into my mouth.
