My One Word: CONSISTENT
Consistency is the area I most struggle in personally, professionally and spiritually. Growing up in a military family, I feel that part of it is a fear of “routine,” having to be accountable to that routine and, as a perfectionist, fearing I may fail in staying committed to that routine. I pray that I will change my view of consistency from “routine” and lack of freedom to a daily display of faithfulness leading to abundance and overflow. I pray that I will change my mindset surrounding consistency from “deprived” to “disciplined” as I know that it is the key to reaching my God-given potential. Just as my personal trainer reminds you daily to show up consistently in the gym to build muscle and physical fitness, I pray that the Holy Spirit reminds me daily to show up consistently and strengthen my muscle for leadership and excellence; to be fit in my faith (pray and study His word daily), my family (spend quality time daily), my finances (work on my business and financial goals daily such as saving and tithing) and my friendships (practice gratitude and serve others daily).
