My middle name is Joy. My father had picked this name for me. Perhaps because my birthday is Winter Solstice, and I spent my first Christmas in the hospital with my Mom. For years I have never felt joyful, though. I always have had health problems, and this weighed me down. The only real thing that brought me joy was playing the piano in my church, and my art, and my cat. But I didn’t realize I was missing out on everyday things that bring joy. This year I will find real joy in my faith in Christ, and keep track of the joys I find every day.!
