Over the last few months, I have begun to crave margin in my life – just a little bit of “wiggle room” where God can come in and do what only He can do. I get so busy being busy – and before I know it, there’s no time for anything other than the “must do” items of life, and I end up existing instead of living. Sometimes just surviving, at best. I know that with increased margin will come increased balance, which will help me be a better everything – mom, friend, daughter, supervisor, staff member, life group leader, etc. I believe that miracles happen in the margin…and greater intimacy with God is a result of making room for Him. And I want both of those things in my life.
