There were a number of things I knew I wanted to happen in my life. I want to truly dwell on love. I want to have a disciplined life. I want to enjoy the fullness of life that Jesus said He would supply. I want to stop stabbing at righteousness and be clothed with it instead. God is described in the Bible as “Holy, holy, holy.” Jesus said, “Be perfect as I am perfect.” That means, let God take you farther into His ways, higher up, deeper and more like Him. He is holy. He is light. He is love. What I spend my time thinking about and doing will make me what I am. That’s also something Jesus said. So, I will seek to have the “mind of Christ.” I have such a long way to go. But God is able to do far beyond what my mind can even conceive.
