I was deeply hurt by some people in 2017, but made some new friends because of this. So I want to rise above the hurters.

Also, I need to remember it was only really two people. There are so many others who still like me, and even though the hurters have all but forced me to change churches after almost 13 years, I need to rise above these two hurtful people.

And lastly, I have a goal for 2018 – a second term to my local elected position of Park Board director – that will require me to rise above the competition.
