I prayed for quite a while about my word. And it came to me clear and sharp on New Years Day. Change! Ready or not, here it comes. My last of four daughters will leave for college this year and that will be the biggest change in my life in more than 20 years. God knows I am resistant to change. But I have no choice, I must go forward. I think God gave me this word as a promise…that He’s with me through change, that change will be good, that I am called to trust Him with changes that feel overwhelming, that I can embrace change. There’s so much more ahead, so much more in store. As I write this my fear is starting to be transformed to excitement.
