I have lived my entire life with a nagging, underlying fear – of failure, of not being enough to be loved, of not doing or being all that God wanted me to do or be. As I prayed about my ‘one word’, it suddenly came to me that I don’t trust – people or God completely. From childhood, I had been raised not to trust easily, and while I work at it…well, that’s it, I work at it. I’m asking God to create in me a heart of trust this year.
