Last year God gave me the word Renew. I was ecstatic, thinking what a great word! I imagined spa visits and joy. Well, God allowed me many trials and watching helplessly as a loved one made poor choices impacting all around them. So instead of spa visits, there were tears. But in the tears there were triumphs, too. And God did allow joy to be revealed, reminding me that joy is found in Him even in difficult seasons and circumstances. Which led me right to the doorstep of His grace and His word for me this year: Redeemed. I sat and listed all of the trials and tribulations that I have gone through this year, and the resounding response to each one…”But, I am Redeemed.” I praise Him because He IS faithful AND I am Redeemed!
