My One Word: Courage
From: Cate
A struggle with debilitating illness caused anxiety and panic attacks. Fear holds me back from many things whether small or big. His morning I learnt that courage is not the absence of fear but rather the commitment to overcome it, it does not mean I am not afraid; it means I battle against it and confront my fears. I got Deut 31:6 “Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you, he will never leave me nor forsake me” The word “courage” spoke clearly to my life and as GOD goes with me I can have courage in 2021 and beyond.
