I chose the word rooted because I want to be able to maintain my passion. I thought that my word was going to be burn after God gave it to me this week at a worship night, but after reading the chapter and writing my list I realized that I wanted an end result without starting at the root. I struggle with insecurities and doubts and fears on a regular enough basis and while, for a time, my passion is enough to overcome them, eventually I give in and I fall. This year I have decided that I want to be rooted in Christ so that my fears and doubts cannot sway my passion anymore and so that my life will reflect Jesus in every word and action. My verse is Col2:6-7 AMP and God gave me a vision verse which is Jer 17:7-8 AMP.
