I chose PREPARE because I often just let life happen, rather than taking the time to ready myself in ways I can. My hope is that through this word I will become a sharpened tool for the Lord. I won’t know how God will use my preparedness, but that is part of it as well. This word will involve me having more consistent times with the Lord to PREPARE for the day, praying before meeting with people to PREPARE my heart and words for however God leads, etc. My efforts to PREPARE this year are all to put me in a place of faithful stewardship, eyes open to anxiously see what God does with my preparedness, and trusting Him where He leads.
