My One Word: Rise

I chose the word “Rise” because it will be a reminder to me to get up in the morning, even when it feels like the world is falling down. It will encourage me to stand up for what I believe in, and step forward when opportunities come my way. It will bring to mind the image of my risen King, and remind me of the sacrifice made so that I can be made new.
