I have chosen my one word each year for several years (words like TRUST, CHARITY, COVENANTS). It gives me a focus in how I use my time, perspective when setbacks come, and helps me become who I want to be without becoming overwhelmed with too many goals and resolutions. My word for this year is SERVE – I will serve my family with love as I care for them and our home. I will serve the Lord in building His kingdom on earth. I will serve others by responding when the Spirit prompts me to see another’s need.
